Solar Panel Recycling
Each of our services are aimed at extending solutions that leave a better world for the generations to come.
A solar panel converts the sun’s radiant energy into electricity using photovoltaic cells commonly known as solar cells. A solar panel includes solar cells, photovoltaic modules, and semiconductors.
The heavy metals like - silver, lead, arsenic, cadmium and selenium present in the panel directs us to classify it as hazardous waste. Hazardous waste is waste that has substantial or potential threats to public health or the environment. Hence recycling or disposal of such waste through proper channels becomes inevitable. Moreover, solar panels contain toxic materials like lead that can leach out as they break down. Landfilling of these materials creates new environmental hazards. The next aim of the solar panel industry is the safe disposal or recycling of end-of-life products. Proper recycling/disposal channels are the immediate need.
At Earth Sense, when approached for recycling/disposal of such waste, we take charge to recycle/dispose them in the most eco-friendly manner. We take into consideration the social responsibility of both our valued client and that of ours too.
We adhere to all rules and regulations as laid down by our Government in disposal of Hazardous waste.
Once disposal is completed, we provide a Destruction Certificate.
